Clothing and Footwear

We have a lovely uniform for the children to wear. It comprises a white polo shirt and navy or raspberry sweatshirt,(as shown) all with the playgroup logo.

The uniform is presently optional, but is very good value and the children like to wear it - especially those that have older siblings at school. We do lots of painting and sticking so it also saves spoiling other more expensive clothes.

Polo shirts cost £6.50 each (ages 2-3, 3-4 and 5-6 years)

Sweatshirts cost £7.50 each (ages 2-3, 3-4 and 5-6 years)

Please make sure your child is sent with a coat as we play outside, weather permitting. When children wear boots to playgroup, please ensure they are named, supply a peg to keep them together and remember to bring a pair of indoor shoes.

Please do not send children in new clothes that might get spoiled by paint or glue.

We do realize that we will have the odd accident at toilet times, and we do have facilities to change your child but generally we would expect that your child be toilet trained by the time he/she joins playgroup. If there is a chance of the odd little problem please supply

a change of clothing.
